| CARRION CROW (Corvus corone)
The all-black carrion crow is an intelligent and adaptable bird. It is often quite fearless, although it can be wary of man. They are fairly solitary, usually found alone or in pairs. Adult length is 45-47 cm with a wingspan of 93-104 cm. Fully grown they weigh 370-650g. They eat worms and insects, seeds, fruit, and scraps and will come into gardens to feed. The carrion crow can live up to 19 years. |
